I have used the seeing reason tool in my Unit Plan Getting Along. I can see a real use for it in this unit to encourage my students to think about the factors of getting along and also explaining why they think that factor increases or decreases getting along. I am really interested to see how it impacts on my students - I will be guiding and scaffolding the process the whole way and am hoping that maybe by the end of the year when they know their letters, sounds and are beginning to write/type, read, improved fine motor skills, they may be able to work in small groups and do a seeing reason map or visual ranking tool all by themselves - a high expectation but hey if you don't have the expectation, how will your students reach their full potential ???
